JOAO PESSOA

Joao Pessoa is a beautiful town 2 ½ hours drive south of Natal airport and 1 1/2 hours drive north of Recife airport in the Northeast state of Paraiba in Brazil. With miles of stunning beaches, low crime and friendly people, this is an ideal holiday destination and also a great place to relocate and find property and real estate investment.

Nightlife

Nightlife in Joao Pessoa is fairly quiet but there is a nightclub called Incognito by the renowned Tropical Tambau hotel which is spread over 3 floors. The top floor is a roof-terrace for chilling out, the 1st floor usually host DJs playing House music and the ground floor is used for live music. You can also find venues such as the fantastic Mr Caipira on Av. Joao Mauricio which is perfect for live Latin music. The music is called Forro and is the local music of the area. If you like dancing to Latin music such as Samba and Salsa, then this is the place for you. It stays open ‘til the early hours of the morning and is great fun and with some seriously good dancers.

Restaurants

Local restaurants are great and the food is of great standard at cheap prices. Beautiful restaurants such as Terrere and Fellini on the beachfront are great places to eat and budget meals cost from 29 Reals (£10) for as much as you can eat.

Property in Brazil

Property prices in Joao Pessoa have risen due to the strength of the Real but you can get properties from as little as 70,000 Reals (£20,000) in lesser known areas. Property in Brazil is fairly easy to buy, but, as always ensure you find a good lawyer that will check for all necessary documents relating to the property and the land.

We can provide property purchase lawyers that are fluent in English and Portugese, which will make your job so much easier, and with prices as low as 900 Reals (£260) for legal fees, it makes sens to buy property in Brazil.
